Greetings!
Welcome to the inaugral gr newsletter for book clubs. Each month, we will pick a book that will create a lively discussion for your book club. We'll provide the book club notes, the first chapter, and some interesting information about the author to help your discussion. We'll also have a monthly competition just for book clubs, and opportunities for an author to appear at your meeting!
This month, we have chosen Anita Diamant's book Day After Night. Based on a true story, this book explores the friendship of four women whose experience with the Holocaust has brought them together. It is full of talking points, and there is plenty of further reading for those who want to learn more. Read it with your book club, discuss the book club notes, and send us an email telling us what you think. We'll publish your comments in the next enewsletter. |
