Ahoy!
I've been told before that I shouldn't repeat the same message over and over - "It's beautiful out there," "Sailing this past weekend was amazing," "I'm so thankful for any time I'm out on the water". Well guess what?! It WAS beautiful out there this weekend, it WAS amazing and I am always so amazed what a blessing it is to sail on the San Francisco Bay. There, I said it again. I don't mean to get all smug on you, but DANG, we have something really great out there and if you're missing it, it's nobody's fault but your own. Jump on a chartershare, take those sailing lessons, join one of our rendezvous. It's not rocket science. What it is, is FUN!
Speaking of FUN . . . I am soooo excited about our Half Moon Bay trip this weekend. We have twelve boats headed down the coast and we're looking forward to some great company and good cheer! Pictures and commentary to make you envious are sure to follow... I'm just sayin!

CONGRATULATIONS SEBASTIEN DE HALLEUX!
Sebastien took part in our five day Coastal Passage Making trip last week and came back to port having gained the coveted US SAILING Coastal Passage Making Certification. Congratulations Sebastien! We know you worked hard! We are so proud!

For those of you who don't know about L'ectronic Latitude, it's a tri-weekly email put out by none other than Latitude 38, the San Francisco sailor's bible.

QUESTION: Fleet Week reminded us of an important rule that some of you may not have been aware of - how many people, according to the Coast Guard, are you allowed to have on board a charter vessel?
ANSWER:Uninspected vessels in a charter fleet have a limit of 12 people allowed on the boat while underway.
