Greetings!
Having just returned from the Islands, it has taken me a little more time to get into the holiday spirit. Even though little island markets were playing holiday jingles and had decorated with tinsel and lights, the idea that we were in the midst of the holiday season simply hadn't dawned on me. I'm still trying to hold onto my vacation euphoria after all and dag nabbit I'm keeping my tan! Don't get me wrong, I love the holidays! People seem to unite together with a generous giving spirit and there's a joyful sense of community.
In and effort to keep my "Island time" frame of mind, I searched for the perfect holiday song to combine my love of the holiday season with my on-going vacation euphoria. While Mele Kalikimaka is one of my favorites, I've chosen Christmas in the Caribbean as my get-me-in-the-mood song. What's your favorite holiday song?
Whatever your frame of mind, we hope you're having a wonderful and safe holiday season. Don't forget the West Marine Sale on Thursday night for extra holiday savings!
