Greetings!

"In the summertime when the weather is high, you can jump right up and touch the sky..."

That's right, it's officially summertime! Daytime extends into the eight o-clock hour and gives you plenty of opportunity to get out there and enjoy your favorite pastime! With the kids out of school, and the extension of the Club Nautique member weekday charter incentive, this would be the perfect chance to enjoy a vacation of a lifetime right here in your own back yard! Plan a trip to Petaluma, spend the night at South Beach or dip your toes into the warm, fresh waters of the Delta! You'll be blown away by all the fun there is to be had, and it's only a sailboat ride away!

The 4th of July is right around the corner, have you made your plans to watch the fireworks from a boat?

Every year, we benefit from the celebration of Fleet Week. There are air shows, parades of ships and fireworks. This year, San Francisco Fleet Week will be bigger than ever!

In addition to paying tribute to the young men and women serving in the Naval Services, there will also be an emphasis on the naval services role in humanitarian assistance and disaster response.

Please attend a special benefit performance of Sandy Hackett 's RAT PACK SHOW.
The RAT PACK SHOW takes audiences on a journey back to the days of highballs, hi-jinks and happy hour with Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Joey Bishop and Dean Martin. Sandy Hackett 's RAT PACK SHOW features the classic songs everyone knows and loves such as "For Once in My Life," "My Way," "Mack the Knife," plus original, never-before-heard songs written by the late Ron Miller.

All proceeds go to help fund Fleet Week. Thank you for your support!

Todays TipTODAY'S TIP

Have fun things for kids to do onboard to keep them engaged and entertained. Play games like "I spy" that you would normally play in a car. Or if you're really motivated, create your own bingo cards made up of things that you might see out on the bay.

For those warmer days, keep a super soaker in your bag of tricks! IMPORTANT!!! Establish rules of engagement... like - no shooting into cockpits where there may be cell phones, cameras or other non-waterproof electronic gear.

You can also use your soaker in a pinch to give the cockpit a quick hosing off! You can purchase this model locally at Big 5 sports or you can find it on line they run anywhere from $9.99 - $24.99.

QUESTION:

Two fathers and two sons went fishing. Each caught a fish, but they caught only three fish in all. How come?

ANSWER:

There was a grandfather, a father (son of the grandfather) and a son.
While you could argue that there were THREE sons on the boat, as by the simple fact of being born you are automatically a son, we opted to only count the sons on the boat whose fathers were present.
