To learn what companies are doing, a web based survey invitation was sent out in early January to 175 corporate executives, managers and professionals primarily at high tech companies in the Bay Area.

Over 30 different strategies were cited by respondees. We added another 30 strategies.

The intent of the survey report is to provide companies with a benchmark for comparison and to stimulate new thinking and new ways to deal with the tough economic climate of 2009.
