Pick a free daisy bouquet July 25-August 1
Volunteer for a couple of hours = free daisy plants.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We have 3-4 varieties of daisies in our gardens so we have daisies in bloom most of the spring and summer. As each variety finishes blooming we cut them back to prevent them going to seed and taking over. Next weekend, we are cutting back the Shasta daisies. This week, you are invited to visit and pick a couple dozen daisy bouquets. If you have time to volunteer for a couple of hours we would be happy to share some of the daisy plants and whatever else we end up digging up as we continue reworking the gardens.. Please respond to this email if you are interested volunteering for plants.. |
Make a donation and pick a sun flower
The next time you shop at one of Blooms & Berries roadside produce stands, make a donation to Granny's Garden School and you can pick a sunflower from the display. While you are there, ask for a copy of Jeff's Producing Buying Guide. It will help to answer the perpetual question of "How do I know if this watermelon is ripe." and is full of other produce buying tips.
