The Gaels extended their unbeaten streak to four as they defeated the Windsor Lancers 38- 3 in front of a national television audience on Saturday night in Windsor, Ont.

Mike Giffin of Kingston, Ont. led the Gaels with three rushing touchdowns and 120 yards on the ground keeping the Gaels undefeated in the 2007 campaign. Giffin has now collected six touchdowns in the last two games and has earned four consecutive games with 100 plus rushing yards.

The No. 8 ranked Gaels are now 4-0 and are tied for top spot in the OUA league standings with Ottawa and Laurier.

Queen's will host Laurier next Saturday at Richardson Stadium in a battle of undefeated teams. The Golden Hawks are the No. 5th ranked team in the country and many are touting them as Queen's biggest challenge this year.

All the game coverage follows including a great video highlight package from theScore and a Monday take on "Bleeding Tricolour."

This is a special year for Queen's football as it will be 125 years since the Gaels first started playing football in 1882.

To mark this celebration Queen's University and the Queen's Football Club will celebrate the occasion in Kingston this weekend.

All players, alumni, fans, parents and boosters are invited. The details and registration of the weekend are noted below.

The weekend itinerary will include the following activities:

Friday afternoon golf at Smuggler's Glen
Family Tailgate/VIP seating at Richardson Stadium
Saturday evening Buffet Party at The Grizzly Grill

Golf: Smuggler's Glen was nominated for the Best New Golf Course in 2006 by Golf Digest and is located in the heart of the 1000 islands near Gananoque. It will be a beautiful setting for our return to the Kingston area for an annual golf event. The event will include lunch and dinner and a golfer gift.

They had a chance to do something no Queen's football team had ever done, and this particular group of Golden Gaels wasn't about to let the opportunity pass.

"We definitely did not want to come down, make that 8 1/2-hour bus ride, and lose again," said Gaels linebacker Chris Smith, after his team whipped the Windsor Lancers 38-3 in an Ontario University Athletics match Saturday night.

It was the first win ever for a Queen's football team at Windsor, and it stretched the No. 8- ranked Gaels' season-long unbeaten streak to four games.

The mark meant nothing without a win to Daryl Stephenson.

The talented fourth-year running back became just the second player in OUA history to rush for 4,000 career yards, but his heroics weren't enough to save the Lancers.

With an offence in complete disarray, the University of Windsor Lancers fell 38-3 to the eighth-ranked Queen's Golden Gaels at University of Windsor Stadium Saturday.

"No, I don't care," Stephenson said of the feat. "I didn't get 4,000 yards tonight and help our team win."

He might have needed a 4,000-yard performance for the Lancers to have a chance. Windsor has now been outscored 64- 3 in the last six quarters.

"We have to get our stuff together or we're going to keep getting killed," Stephenson said.

The skepticism of a lot of Queen's Golden Gaels diehards have developed as a reflex is atrophying.

The first response to the Gaels doing the funky chicken (let that be the last wedding reception-related pun in this post) on the injury-riddled Windsor Lancers on Saturday, rolling 38-3, is that it's about to come back to reality over the next two weeks vs. the OUA's other 4-0 teams, Laurier at home this Saturday and Ottawa on the road on Thanksgiving weekend.

So what?
