Finders Keepers 2012 - October 15 thru Memorial Day 2012

Finders Keepers 2012 Poster

October 15th marks the beginning of the

2012 Finders Keepers season in Lincoln City!

The project began as the perfect combination of art and the outdoors. Those who came in search of a float often found their way to area galleries, where unnumbered floats were available for sale along with a dizzying array of fine art glass from around the world. From October 15, 2011 through Memorial Day 2012 the Lincoln City Visitor and Convention Bureau's "Float Fairies" will place 2012 glass floats on the beaches of Lincoln City for beachcombers to find and treasure. Click here to find out more!

Help us kick off the 2012 Finders Keepers season on October 15th at the Glass Gala and Glass Galore Art Show and Sale. Both events are being held at the Inn at Spanish Head. In addition, we will have a special drop of additional glass art throughout the weekend.

The Glass Galore Art Show and Sale will be open from 2PM to 9PM and will feature glass art from artists throughout the Northwest, many of whom are the artists behind the glass floats featured in Finders Keepers. Admission is free!

Glass Gala will also be held on October 15th with doors opening at 6PM with a plated dinner served at 7. Dress every year is Semi-Formal. For more information call 800-452-2151. Tickets are $75 each.

100 additional glass floats and 100 glass sand dollars, including 1 gold sand dollar, will be dropped along our beaches throughout the weekend. If you are the lucky beachcomber to find the gold sand dollar, take it to our Visitor Center at 540 NE Hwy or Glass Confusion at 1610 NE Hwy 101 for a prize!
