Wheelchair Riders Alert

We need help making Lincoln City as easy and enjoyable as possible for wheelchair riders. To do so, we need three riders and one travel companion each to be part of a focus group. We ask them to help us hone in on and fix some of Lincoln City's deficiencies and add to its opportunities regarding accessibility.

We will pay for lodging, gas, meals, beginning Saturday through Monday lunch. Those folks need to be willing to visit a half dozen prescribed places to give us feedback on them and meet for an hour or so with the Human Resources Director and the Visitor and Convention Bureau Director on Monday afternoon before they leave. The rest of the time they can simply play and enjoy the ocean. The weekend is October 15, which is the kickoff for our Glass Float promotion, Finders Keepers, through Monday the 17th.

If you would like to be considered for this focus group, please email events@lincolncity.org, with "Disability Focus Group" in the subject line on or before September 9, 2011, indicating where you are from, if you have been to Lincoln City before, a phone number where we can reach you, and the reason you are interested.  We will let you know the following week if you are among the three selected.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Very truly yours,
Sandy Pfaff, Executive Director
