Voluntourism

We are stewards of the sea and the lake and the land. We live and play in a stunning corner of the world, and our residents and visitors are committed to protecting it as best we can. Working side-by-side with guests to our area is the most enriching way to do that. Volunteering to help the community or maintain natural wonders can bring a sense of pride. This phenomenon has been coined "Voluntourism". So we are proud to offer a variety of projects to enhance your vacation. Consider these possibilities....

  • Join thousands of volunteers in cleaning uphand with plant our beaches at one of the SOLV Beach Cleanup events. For more information, go to www.solv.org.
  • If you are a history buff, volunteer at the North Lincoln County Historical Museum greeting visitors, performing research or working with the curators. Contact Anne Hall at 541-996-6698 or nlchmdirector@gmail.com.
