Real estate sign regulations
|
Real estate signs are one of the more important marketing tools to our industry - but they can also be one of the more troublesome if you don't follow the rules.
For example, you could be breaking a law right now, as you read this article. If you have a listing with more than one real estate sign posted in the yard, if you have an open house pointer on the corner of a busy intersection or if you have any signs closer than 10 feet from the street or located within the city right-of-way, then put your hands up, you're probably breaking the law.
Get some general pointers with this article from February's issue of REALEYES.

Are You a Budding Leader from the Show Me State?
|
Leadership development is essential to improving our association and the real estate profession. The Missouri Association of REALTORS® developed the Leadership Academy to identify emerging REALTOR® leaders and encourage them to sharpen their leadership skills so that they may exert a strong positive influence on the future of the national, state and local associations and boards, as well as their profession.
Participants work together during five mandatory retreats that combine individual study, group sessions and project experience. Sessions include identification of leadership skills, team-building exercises, goal setting, personal profile analysis, communication and ethical decision-making.
Applications for KCRAR-subsidized positions are due Tuesday, May 1. Go here to learn more or download an application.
