Take advantage of a free KCRAR member benefit - and win prizes while you're at it!

Through RETechnology, a KCRAR no-cost member benefit, brokers and agents have an online directory to access information and reviews on real estate industry products and services available through a host of vendors.

The online directory was designed to help educate brokers and agents prior to making a technology-related purchase. There is no paid product placement on RETechnology.com; rather, the goal is to include all real estate-related tech products along with reviews by brokers and agents who use the specific products.

RETechnology makes it easy for agents to access clear product descriptions and objective product reviews while staying current with technology trends. And from now until March 20, upon visiting the RETechnology website you're able to enter a contest to win one of many prizes.

Give RETechnology a try; it's free to Heartland MLS/KCRAR Members. Login at www.kcrar.com and click on the "Information and Member Only Services" section at the bottom of the page or access under the "External Links" section on the Matrix home page.

Perfect Listing Photos in One Click

Friday, March 23

9-10 a.m. in the KCRAR classroom

Sponsored by: The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals - Kansas City (NAHREP-KC)

Don't have the money to hire a professional photographer for your listings? Do you prefer to take your own photos, but the angle is wrong or the lighting is off? Join NAHREP-KC for an introductory photography class with local professional photographer Mark Baltzley (markbaltzley.com). Mark will review your camera's basic functions and settings so you can take high-quality photos that best represent your listings. Your photos will go from "I can't tell what that is?" to "I want that house!" Bring your camera for this hands-on session.

There is no cost to attend. Register today at www.kcrar.com or contact Cristalle Bozarth at 913-266-5908 for more information.

Mobile Device Security: Best Practices
Most real estate professionals own a mobile device that stores contacts and emails, and that provides access to social media and other online accounts. However, some real estate professionals may not realize that the documents they receive via email as part of the closing process are more sensitive than they think. Mobile devices create an information security risk that needs to be addressed.
