Downtown Homes Tour on Nov. 20

Since the opening of the Power & Light District, Spring Center, and most recently the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, demand for downtown housing has doubled. Every demographic from young, single professionals to baby boomers are interested in the eclectic, vibrant, maintenance-free lifestyle that the urban core has to offer.

The Downtown Homes Tour on Sunday, Nov. 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. will showcase distinctive floor plans with unique character, design and style, ranging in price from $86,000 to $2.2 million. This is a self-guided tour to see and experience what downtown and urban living is all about. In addition, be sure to pick up a tour button, available at each location, to enjoy special discounts at several local restaurants.

C'mon, get your hands dirty

If you are licensed in Missouri, please note that prior to the next renewal you'll need to have your fingerprints on file with the Missouri Real Estate Commission. This is NOT a requirement just for new licensees, so even if you've been licensed for years, you'll need to get your prints on file before your next renewal. In order to avoid delays, it is recommended that you be fingerprinted by March 1, 2012.

For more info, including how to arrange for on-site fingerprinting, go to the MREC site at http://pr.mo.gov/realestate.asp and see the New Fingerprinting Q&A section.
