Mike's Open Mic Night
(3 Minute Max)
We are trying an 'OPEN' format for our regular meeting. We may also have a Monday night meeting once a month or so if this is popular. Come on out for a fun, information packed meeting.
- Shameless commercials?
- Anything related to real estate, by anyone.
- Who has a deal to pitch? Anyone can pitch any deal. Be ready to buy or sell.
- Who is looking for something specific? Money, properties, repair people, materials, suppliers, vendors, wholesalers, educational materials, mentors, etc. Ask and you just may receive!
- Questions or problems? Bring them all, there will be plenty of experienced investors willing to help you. Need help with deal structuring, evaluating a deal, you name it, there should be someone to help you.
- Share something to help your fellow investors? Made a mistake, found a solution to a problem, got some new information, just negotiated a nice deal? Share with the group so we can all benefit.
- Are you a great vendor? Do you know a bad one? We don't want to bash but we do want to know!
Guests may attend for a $20 guest fee, and receive a $20.00 credit toward your Full Membership dues (up to $40), which must be used with in 60 days of visit. Members attend for free.

QuickBooks Training Class!

QuickBooks is a flexible and powerful accounting program. Unfortunately, it is this flexibility which keeps many investors away. That's because QuickBooks is a sort of accounting erector set. You can use it to run a restaurant, a laundry, a service station, or a real estate investment portfolio.
The trick is knowing how to SETUP QuickBooks for YOUR business.
Join us Monday, May 7, 2012 from 6:30 PM until about 8:30 PM at the JaxREIA office for a QuickBooks Seminar taught by JaxREIA board member and President of The Florida Landlord Network, Paul Howard. Paul has taught this class to thousands of real estate investors since 1998. He has offered to teach JaxREIA members at a reduced rate.
This QuickBooks class is like none you have taken before. We will NOT be talking accounting. Instead, Paul will teach you, in a careful, step-by-step process, exactly how to setup QuickBooks.
When the class is over you will be able to go back to your office and setup QuickBooks for your business in under 20 minutes! You will know exactly what to do and you will know why.
The class includes a workbook, step-by-step instructions; plus, up to one hour of telephone tech support in case you have questions or run in to a problem.
