Chinese Furniture VendorsThe mission of our May trip was to discover and select beautiful antique furniture and interesting accessories.  We met with several antique furniture vendors including Mr. Guo, Hai Fenh Lui, Mr. Cao, Mr. Ge and Ms Lily.  For crafts, silk, porcelain and accessories we shopped at several markets including the Hongqiao market and the Weekend flea market.

Sichuan Earthquake Memorial CandlesOur hearts, our empathy and our sympathy go out to the victims and the people of China.  It was through our Katrina-disaster filters that we experienced and viewed the Sichuan Province earthquake in southwestern China, its toll on people, and the Chinese government's response.
