"Adding Fox 5 and Dana Fowle to the event will add another level of credibility and interest."

In addition to the panelist's questions, WBHF is soliciting questions from the public for consideration. Questions can be submitted via the station's Facebook page or by email at news@WBHFradio.org

The public is encouraged to attend this free event at The Grand Theatre, but the event will also be broadcast live on AM 1450 WBHF and replayed at multiple times before the primary election.

Press Release from Rep. Barry Loudermilk

LOUDERMILK ENDORSED BY CONSERVATIVE GROUPS

ATLANTA - State Representative Barry Loudermilk has been one of the more outspoken advocates of conservative values in the state during his six years in the Georgia State House, and has advocated for a unified coalition of state conservative organizations.  In February this year, Loudermilk was the headline speaker at a state capitol rally for the newly formed Conservative Leadership Coalition of Georgia, a coalition of conservative groups that Loudermilk was instrumental in organizing.

On Monday, June 21, 2010, organizations within the Conservative Leadership Coalition gathered at the State Capitol and announced their support for Loudermilk and few other state level candidates.

One of the organizations that endorses candidates is the Georgia 9.12 Project. The Georgia 9.12 Project was started in response to the inspiration of nationally syndicated talk show personality, Glenn Beck. On an episode of his Fox News Show, Beck called for the people to create organizations within their communities to hold elected officials to the principles of our nation's Founding Fathers.

On Monday, Georgia 9.12 named Loudermilk as one of only twelve candidates statewide that have received the organization's endorsement for the 2010 elections.  "We have confidence that these candidates, if elected or re-elected, will not let down Georgia voters," said 9.12 Project Chairwoman, Tricia Pridemore.

Also announced in yesterday's press conference was the release of the Georgia Tea Party's voter guide. While the Georgia Tea Party doesn't make candidate endorsements, it is clear from the voter's guide that Loudermilk is one of their favored legislators. Loudermilk not only received perfect rating by the Tea Party for his voting record, the guide also noted that he was co-sponsor on several Tea Party supported bills.

Americans for Prosperity also gave Loudermilk a 100% rating in their legislative Scorecard, which was also announced at the press conference. Americans for Prosperity is an organization of grassroots leaders who engage citizens in the name of limited government and free markets on the local, state and federal levels. The Georgia chapter of AFP has been engaged in lobbying the Georgia General Assembly to cut taxes, reduce government spending, and impose fiscal responsibility within state government.

"I am honored to receive the endorsement of these conservative organizations, "said Loudermilk, "I told the leadership of the House, when I was first elected that, 'while I may negotiate my preferences, I will not compromise my principles.' During my time in the State House, I have held to that commitment and stood firm on my conservative principles. Standing isn't always easy, but to return our state to the limited government envisioned by our Founders requires leaders who are willing to resist the pressure to compromise their principles."
