AM 1450 WBHF in Cartersville to Host Political Forum for State House and State Senate Candidates

The public will have an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates for State House districts 14 and 15 and Senate Senate districts 31 and 52 on Tuesday, June 29th at 6:00 p.m. at The Grand Theatre in downtown Cartersville during the WBHF Political Forum. Candidates will answer questions from staffs of The Daily Tribune News and WBHF radio AM 1450. Dana Fowle, I-Team Investigative Reporter with WAGA TV Fox 5 in Atlanta will serve as moderator for the event.

"The political forums are one of the most important community events that we do", states WBHF Station Manager Matt Santini. "We are thrilled to continue our partnership with The Daily Tribune News for this event." "When local media outlets can have a healthy and respectful competition and can work together on events like this, the community wins." "Adding Fox 5 and Dana Fowle to the event will add another level of credibility and interest."

In addition to the panelist's questions, WBHF is soliciting questions from the public for consideration. Questions can be submitted via the station's Facebook page or by email at news@WBHFradio.org

The public is encouraged to attend this free event at The Grand Theatre, but the event will also be broadcast live on AM 1450 WBHF and replayed at multiple times before the primary election.

A second WBHF Political Forum will take place on Tuesday, July 6th at 6:00 p.m. at The Grand Theatre with candidates for Bartow County School Board, and The Daily Tribune News will provide a panelist for that event as well.
