Presidential Election The Presidential Election will definitely be the highlight of 2008. Both Republicans and Democrats will be picking their candidates over the next few months and officially announce their candidates at the national conventions. For Georgia, we will have our Presidential Preference Primary on Tuesday, February 5, 2008. If you are not registered to vote yet, you must do so by Monday, January 7, 2008. There are a wide variety of candidates with a tremendous variance in beliefs.
