Dear friends,

Summer Camp 2010 We are getting ready for Summer Camp! This week, Monday, June 7th, Summer Camp began. If you have never experienced Summer Camp, now's your time to check it out. If you have a daughter between 4th and 8th grade, you can make Summer Camp part of her life by registering her in Girlstart Summer Camp. Some camps still have spaces available!

If you are in the Killeen area, we have exceptional news. A recent award by the Texas Veterans Commission has made 4 weeks of Summer Camp possible for girls in Killeen in June and July. We will be collaborating with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Texas in Killeen. Girls will have the opportunity of participating in Summer Camp this summer, weekend mini-camps during the school year, as well as a spring break camp next March. It is an honor to be able to bring our high quality STEM programming to daughters of active duty and veteran status families.

Also, if you are in the Bryan/College Station area, we'll be doing a week of Summer Camp in collaboration with the Vizlab at Texas A&M in July. The Vizlab is Texas's leading STEM-integrated university programs. Summer Camp will be for students entering 7th-9th grades. You can check them out here: www.viz.tamu.edu.

If, alas, you are not able to attend camp as a participant, there's no reason why you have to miss out on the magic. If you'd like to visit any of our camps, please let me know and I'd be honored to give you a personal tour.

Best wishes, and I hope you'll join us for some summer STEM fun.
