Skyline Comedy Cafe is diving laugh-first into fall! Watch out: we're breaking out the BIG guns the next few weeks.
Kicking off fall's official start is the not-your-girl-next-door comic Andi Smith ("Last Comic Standing," Comedy Central, Bob and Tom), September 22 - 25. Then, Doug Stanhope (Rated R) performs one special-event show at 7:30pm October 1. Remember: this will likely be your last chance to see Doug in an intimate venue such as Skyline! Then, Chicago comic John Roy brings some unique, positive perspective on urban life to the stage October 6 - 9.

Andi Smith | September 22 - 25
Andi Smith is the girl next door, and the girl who hates
the girl next door. Sneaking up on her audience with surprising, forceful blows
to their funny bone, Andi's fresh material and languid delivery telegraphs into
unusual territory to get big laughs. The comic appeared on two seasons of NBC's
"Last Comic Standing," on Comedy Central's "Live At Gotham," the Bob and Tom Show and at the 2010 SXSW Festival. Her CD "Homeperm" made Punchline
Magazine's Top 10 albums in 2008.

Doug Stanhope | October 1 at 7:30pm
SPECIAL EVENT - ONE NIGHT, ONE SHOW ONLY! Doug Stanhope is vulgar, opinionated and shockingly
uninhibited. But his aperture for rough, raw and rowdy comedy has made him a stand-up legend. Doug
has hosted "The Man Show" on Comedy Central, appeared on The Howard Stern
Show, Comedy Central Presents, Comedy Central's "Premium
Blend", NBC's "Late Friday" and Spy TV. Doug
also released a one-hour special for Showtime in 2007.

Tom Simmons | September 29 - October 2
 Tom Simmons' socially relevant comedy runs the
stand-up gamut. A witty, energetic performer, he has performed on Comedy Central's
"Live at Gotham" and
appeared in TV pilot for Showtime. He's appeared on The Bob and Tom Show and
also performed on BET's "Comic View" and overseas to entertain troops as part
of "Comics On Duty." Tom was the winner of 2009's San Francisco International
Comedy Competition.

John Roy | October 6 - 9
Chicago
comic John Roy grew up white and Catholic in a neighborhood full of Orthodox
Jews, Nigerians, Mexicans, Indians and Pakistanis-with a uniquely positive
voice on urban life. John has performed on Comedy Central's "Premium Blend,"
"The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," on NBC's "Last Comic Standing" and
four times in two months on "Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen." He's also appeared
on the Bob and Tom Show and twice on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
