  • Should Your Company Invest in Financial Training?

"Every decision made by every employee is a financial decision and will impact financial results. If employees have financial knowledge, they can evaluate the financial impact of decisions before the decisions are made. The alternative is to wait until after the decisions are made (and cross your fingers)." Wendy Almeida & Joseph Kirley - Shaws-Lawson Associates.

Financial IQ Training - Zodiak: The Business of Manufacturing
    IQ Logo

With this financial literacy tool, your associates learn the basics of business finance in a fun, fast-paced learning simulation. Participants break into small teams and run a fictional multi-million dollar company called Zodiak Industries. The simulation includes a three-year business cycle in which participants learn firsthand how to make effective cost-conscious decisions with short-and-long-term impact. At the end of each 'year', teams complete income statements and balance sheets and analyze their results. As 'owners', participants understand how their decisions and actions affect the bottom line.
