| Training-A Lot of $$$ and the Delivery Model is Changing |
 |
|
At $815 billion per year, education and work force
training is the second largest sector of the U.S.
economy, exceeded only by health care, according
to a study conducted by the Credit Suisse First
Boston Corporation in 2004.
A Conference Board survey estimates that almost
half of all organizations out sourced parts of their
training functions. The American Society for Training
& Development benchmarks indicate that the
percentage of training (learning) budgets spent on
external services has risen steadily since 2002 and in
2004 averaged over 30%.

| HUGE Growth Creates Need for Spanish in the Workplace |
 |
|
Nearly one-half of all new workers in the past decade
have been foreign born. Today immigrants make up
14% of the workforce. Focused occupational
language training is the solution that addresses this
communication challenge, and also saves time and
money for your organization.
From 1990 to 2000 Mecklenburg County registered a
HUGE increase in it's Latino population-up 500%!
According to 2005 demographics, 59,565 Latinos call
Mecklenburg County their home, a 32% increase in
just 5 years. Has your company identified the need
to communicate with Latinos? Command Spanish,
Inc. is the country’s leading provider of occupational
Spanish language materials and workshops and CPCC
is proud to be the exclusive provider of these
courses in Charlotte and Mecklenburg County.

| Computer Training |
 |
|
The average U.S. worker already spends one-third of
his/her workday at a computer, and one-quarter of
the workday on the Net. According to David Pearce
Snyder, contributing Editor to The Futurist, by 2010,
essentially all workers – form farmers and factory
workers to waitresses and taxi cab drivers- will
routinely use information technology (IT) to do their
day-to-day jobs. Is your software investment
producing the results you want or would computer
training enhance the return on your software
investment?
