United Way grants to reduce family violence and maximize independence
Despite a difficult fundraising environment, United Way is happy to announce that we will continue to create pathways out of poverty by maintaining current investment levels in eight of our 10 Agenda for Lasting Change goal areas.
The remaining two goal areas have just completed a competitive review process, resulting in a total of $8.8 million in multi-year grants to 75 programs that will increase support services for victims of domestic violence and maximize independence for seniors and people with disabilities. Read more.
