LIVE UNITED logoTake a Stand and Advocate for Victims of Domestic Violence

While 57,000 women in Minnesota experience domestic violence in a year's time, fewer than one in three instances are reported to police. Learn more.

Violence is especially costly to the well-being of those who encounter it, but our community suffers in terms of property loss, medical expenses and income loss due to injury.

You can help. Your $25 gift provides five days in a protective shelter for a family of three fleeing domestic violence.

GIVE
With a new or increased $25 donation, you get an entry into our Campaign Victory Sweepstakes, plus a FREE song from our exclusive compilation album!

ADVOCATE Educate yourself: read the joint report (PDF) from United Way and the Department of Public Safety-Office of Justice Programs.

VOLUNTEER Local shelters need volunteers and used cell phones. Learn more

9-9 Event
Thousands of people packed a bus full of preschool supplies, enjoyed hundreds of slices of Bakers Square pie with scoops of Kemps ice cream and heard music from three great local bands--all to help low-income children get off to a great start for kindergarten. Check out the recap!

If you weren't able to make it and still want to donate preschool supplies, visit our Website.
