conferenceStopping the Cycle of Domestic Violence

United Way is committed to reducing domestic violence by increasing access to services by 20 percent through our Agenda for Lasting Change.

We're proud to sponsor the upcoming conference, Bridging Perspectives: Intervening with Men Who Batter, from May 12-15. This conference aims to break the progression of violence and prevent future abuse through innovative strategies and resources for those who work with men who batter.

You Can Help: Become an Advocate

Help United Way partner Sojourner Project stand up against domestic violence by becoming an Intervention Volunteer Advocate. Advocates provide phone support to victims following a domestic assault. You can work from home and know that you're helping create change.

sponsorshipsSponsorship Opportunities Available for 2009 and 2010

Traditional advertising doesn't have the same return that it used to; sponsorship is the fastest growing form of marketing in the country. Sponsorships offer distinct marketing and competitive advantages, as well as show support for the community.

If your company is looking for a cost-effective way to advertise and increase your community presence, United Way can help. We have a wide range of sponsorship opportunities reaching audiences from our Women's Leadership Council to Emerging Leaders and the community at-large, that can be tailored to fit your goals. Review current packages on our Website or contact us for more details.
