Are Rental Rates Keeping Up With Market Reality?
Negative absorption of 108,970 square feet caused Roanoke's office vacancy rate to increase by 11.3% in the first quarter of 2012. This coincided with a 1.4% decrease in quoted full-service rental rates (from $14.54 at the end of Q4 2011, to $14.33 at the end of Q1 2012).
