New Technologies Set to Fuel Growth of Global Gaming Industry, say Gamingclub.com  MALTA -- New technologies are set to fuel the growth of the global gaming industry, say Gamingclub.com. The online casino and online slots site reports that online gaming is now one of the fastest growing sectors of the gambling industry, accounting for approximately $30 billion of the estimated $1 trillion value of the global gambling market as a whole.

Iowa Online Poker Bill Passes Senate Committee  Reports out of Iowa on Thursday morning are confirming that a bill that would legalize and regulate online poker in the state has passed through a Senate subcommittee.

Study finds large jackpots, not ads, drive lottery ticket sales  A report issued January 3 found a huge jackpot and the economy do more to entice people to buy a lottery ticket than creative marketing campaigns and a good cause for use of the revenue.
