On Saturday August 13th, the Edgewater Community Council, along with Alderman Harry Osterman and the Chicago Park District, will host its first annual Chicago SandCastle Open on Osterman beach. Ten teams of architects, designers, artists and notable organizations will gather on Lake Michigan's sandy shore with shovels, buckets and water bottles to create their vision of the perfect sand castle.

 

The Chicago SandCastle Open is a community friendly event, open to all to enjoy, meet new friends and have fun at the beach!
