As of 11/14/11, approximately 56,300 H-1B cap-subject petitions were receipted against the overall quota of 65,000.  This represents a significant jump in usage since the count was last updated on 11/02/2011 and leaves less than 9,000 H-1B visa numbers available.  If usage continues as it has over the past week, the H-1B quota may be exhausted within the next week.
