| About Us |
Nashville Singers, Inc. is a 501(C)3 non-profit corporation and performing arts organization founded in 2008.
The members range in age from teenagers to retirees and reside in Brentwood, Hermitage, LaVergne, Lebanon, Nashville, Joelton, and Smyrna.
The group meets at Whitworth Memorial Baptist Church the first three Thursday evenings of each month from 7-10pm. Membership in Nashville Singers is open to all men who demonstrate the ability, desire, and a commitment to excellence in vocal and choral performance.

Music City Chorus Qualifies to Compete in Portland
The 2012 Dixie District Convention and Contest was held this past weekend in Gladsden, Alabama. Three quartet competitors and one chorus qualified to represent this region at the International Convention in Portland, Oregon this summer.

Caitlyn Green to Perform on March 24 Concert

Caitlyn Green will be opening for Nashville Singers on the free concert following our Acappella Academy event.
She made her public singing debut at age eight and started writing songs when she was eleven years old. Her music spans several genres, including Country, Contemporary Christian, Adult Contemporary, and Pop.
In just a few short years, she has presented over 40 public and private performances, taking her to 15 cities across Alaska, Colorado, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas. Her debut CD, "Caitlyn Green" is a collection of her earliest original compositions and will be released in the spring of 2012.
The concert will begin at 7:00pm at Whitworth Memorial Baptist Church. Free seating will be available to the first 150 attendees. You can LIKE her page on Facebook, or visit her Reverbnation page to hear the cuts from her soon-to-be-released CD.

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with Nashville Singers!
ICCA South Semifinal @ Vanderbilt University Join us March 17 at 7:00pm

ICCA, The International Championship of A Cappella is the only international tournament that showcases the art of student a cappella singing. Young vocalists also have the opportunity to showcase their talent and develop relationships with each other, cultivating the art of a cappella singing and a lifelong love of music.
The winner of each semifinal is invited to participate in finals, held in the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, where they compete for cash prizes and the coveted title of Grand Champion.
The competitors at this event will include:
- AcaBelles- Florida State University
- Acappology- North Carolina State University
- Accidentals- University of Georgia
- Faux Paz- University of Maryland
- Melodores- Vanderbilt University
- Reverb- Florida State University
Sometime after 9:00pm, Nashville Singers will be presenting a 30-minute performance to an expected audience of 600 people while the judges tabulate the scores.

Join Us on March 20 at Belmont University

Through a collaborative effort with one of our advisory board members, Dr. Jane Warren, Nashville Singers has been invited to perform a concert at Belmont University, and share the stage with Session, an all-female ensemble that performs a cappella arrangements in a variety of popular styles regularly throughout the year. Session is directed by Dr. Warren. The concert will be held in Massey Hall on March 20, 2012 at 7:30pm. Admission is FREE.

Join Us on March 24 for Acappella Academy
26 Men, Women, & Students Already Registered! More than two dozen people have signed up for the Nashville Singers free singing lessons program. Whether you're in high school or a senior citizen, this program is open to men and women of all ages.
WHEN: The program will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 beginning at 9:00am through 4:00pm, including a one hour lunch break and two 15-minute restroom breaks. WHERE: Whitworth Memorial Baptist Church, 3014 Elm Hill Pike, Nashville, TN 37214
THE BEST PART: You're invited to join Nashville Singers that night at 7:00pm when we present a free mini-concert for your friends and family. You'll be able to join us on stage to sing the songs we've learned together. The instruction is provided free of charge. Lesson space is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. You may register alone or with a friend who likes to sing.
