Nashville Singers, Inc. is a 501(C)3 non-profit corporation and performing arts organization founded in 2008.
The members range in age from teenagers to retirees and reside in Brentwood, Hermitage, LaVergne, Lebanon, Nashville, Joelton, and Smyrna.
The group meets at Whitworth Memorial Baptist Church the first three Thursday evenings of each month from 7-10pm.
Membership in Nashville Singers is open to all men who demonstrate the ability, desire, and a commitment to excellence in vocal and choral performance.

Nashville Singers Silent Auction
The very first Nashville Singers Silent Auction is taking place on the evening of our second annual concert starting at 6:00pm at Donelson First Baptist Church. Bidding will be permitted through the end of the intermission of our Season of Harmony concert event. Winning bids will be announced at the cast party scheduled to start at approximately 9:30pm. The goal is to raise $4000 from this year's auction. All money raised will help support many of our critical programs, including youth and adult music education programs, next year's annual concert, and recording projects.

Donating an Item to the 2011 Silent Auction
Donations are now being accepted for the 2011 Silent Auction, set to take place from 6:00pm to approximately 8:15pm at Donelson First Baptist Church.
Donating to the Silent Auction is easy - simply complete and submit the online donation reservation form so we have the necessary information about your item and the donor to be recognized, and your spot will be reserved in the auction. To have your donation acknowledged in the Season of Harmony 2011 concert program please complete and submit this form by October 15, 2011.

Today in History

August 1, 1971 - The Concert For Bangla Desh, organized by George Harrison to aid victims of famine and war in Bangla Desh took place at New York's Madison Sq Garden. Featuring Bob Dylan, Ringo Starr, Billy Preston, Eric Clapton, Ravi Shankar and members from Badfinger. Harrison had to shell out his own money to maintain the fund after legal problems froze all proceeds. The triple album release (the second in a row by Harrison), hit number 1 in the UK and No.2 in the US and received the Grammy Award for Album of the Year.

Please read through this schedule carefully. We have a major concert commitment approaching quickly. With 18 songs to have ready, only 15 hours of rehearsal time scheduled in the next six weeks, and 1/3rd of that time dedicated to holiday music, that gives us just 5 minutes of polish time per song, per week. We must make every minute count!!After August 4, 2011, no more sheet music will be permitted on the risers.
