Ask the Executive Director
Q: How has Nashville Singers been able to accomplish so much in such a short period of time? A: Make no mistake about it, our success has required thousands of hours of planning and behind-the-scenes hard work. These are the strategies for success that guide everything we do: - Have fun!
- Have a dream and create a plan to make that dream a reality
- Expect more, get more
- Present a quality product and image
- Create and nurture a customer service culture that permeates all levels of the organization
- Make a commitment to analysis and feedback.
- Preserve the core/stimulate progress
- Focus our limited resources on programs that support our mission and vision
- Educate, inspire, recognize, and monitor the effectiveness of our leaders
- Learn from and respond to change
- Willingness to explore and implement modifications to our governance and management structure to improve organizational efficiency
- Build alliances - seek partners that complement our mission, and leverage the talent within those alliances
- Serve our community
- Embrace technology and the internet
- Become attractive to outside funding
- Secure funding to implement our plans and programs
- Model the best practices of other successful non-profit organizations
- Resist the fear of failure
