Suntones Meet & Greet Event Draws Attendees from Tennessee, South Carolina and Alabama
Nashville Singers hosted a Meet & Greet event with the SUNTONES last Thursday that drew attendees from three states. One family drove 400 miles from Rock Hill, SC to attend. Over the course of the evening, the chorus received some coaching from Gene Cokeroft and Bob Franklin of the SUNTONES, performed some of our new music for attendees up in the sanctuary, and enjoyed a performance and Q&A session from the 1961 International Quartet Champion. Here's a video of the SUNTONES performance from that night that someone posted to Youtube. | The SUNTONES L to R / Harlan Wilson, Bob Franklin, Gene Cokeroft, Todd Wilson singing Bye Bye Blues, one of their contest songs from 50 years ago! |
