"Free Singing Lessons" Program Impacts Nine Participants from Tennessee and Alabama
 | (L to R) Jim Highfill, Chad Kern, Charlie Bretz, Mark Riley, Clint Murray, Terry Palus, Robert Duling, Don Hamilton |
Our free singing lessons program attracted nine participants from seven cities in Davidson, Cheatham, Robertson, and Williamson Counties in Tennessee, and one gentleman who traveled 300 miles round-trip from his home in Arab, Alabama on the last two Thursdays of the four-week program.
The feedback was very positive.
Mark Riley - "The free singing lessons program was a "5-Star Experience." What Nashville Singers does is so important. Singing is good for the soul and great for the spirit of the singer. I appreciated the professionalism and being made to feel so welcome."
Charlie Bretz - "The group setting was much less intimidating than I anticipated. It was great to learn how to perform with emotion."
Chad Kern - "I had fun and am beginning to learn a lot about singing."
Clint Murray - "I appreciated the friendliness and connection with the other singers."
Don Hamilton - "What I liked most was the fun, fellowship, and professionalism. The attention to detail impressed me the most."
Stuart Johnson - "I appreciated the education."
Robert Duling - "I've gotten mixed and sometimes confusing instruction from previous directors. What I appreciated most was the experienced directors."
Terry Palus - "I love to sing! What I appreciated most was that for the men of Nashville Singers, singing is not a job, it's a passion."
Jim Highfill - "After attending our 2010 concert, the idea of visiting one of your meetings was a bit intimidating. However, after participating in this program, I received lots of encouragement and felt very welcome."
