The philanthropic mission of Nashville Singers is to provide resources and support for music education in our schools and the community.
Leadership Mission The leadership mission of Nashville Singers is to seek, develop, use and enhance the skills and talents of each member to such an extent that progress seems limitless. Vision The vision of Nashville Singers is to be a dynamic choral leader, enriching lives through the performance of significant music.

About Us
|
Nashville Singers, Inc. is a non-profit corporation and performing arts organization founded in 2008.
The members range in age from teenagers to retirees and reside in Brentwood, Hermitage, LaVergne, Lebanon, Nashville, Joelton, and Smyrna.
The group meets at Whitworth Memorial Baptist Church the first three Thursday evenings of each month from 7-10pm.
Membership in Nashville Singers is open to all men who demonstrate the ability, desire, and a commitment to excellence in vocal and choral performance.

Nashville Singers Board of Directors Approves $500 Donation to Metro Nashville Public Schools
These funds will be earmarked to support vocal music education. Nashville Singers Executive Director Todd Wilson has consulted this week with Mayor Karl Dean, and will be working with Danielle Mezera with the Mayor's Office for Children and Youth to identify a school where these funds can make a positive difference in the lives of Nashville-area students. Like most arts organizations, Nashville Singers cannot provide its programs without support from a variety of sources. Concert ticket sales account for less than one third of the annual budget of the chorus.

2011
January 1 - Nashville Singers will perform the National anthem at 10:00am in downtown Nashville for the Resolution Run. MEMBERS: chorus call 9:15pm; dress uniform;
The Resolution Run benefits United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Middle Tennessee's Durable Medical and Adaptive Equipment Exchange Program. Through this unique recycling program, UCP collects, cleans, modifies and distributes durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, prone standers, gait trainers, and other essential equipment to persons with disabilities who otherwise could not afford this equipment.
How can you participate?
Preregistration is $20 for individuals and $50 for families up to three people. All pre-registered participants are guaranteed a t-shirt. (Race Day Registration is $25 for individuals and $65 for families). Register online by clicking on the map or logo shown above.

January 13 (Thu) - Nashville Singers will have an abbreviated rehearsal from 7:00pm to 8:00pm, followed by a party of family and friends and a presentation of 2010 member awards. The location of the party will be announced very soon. Do not miss this chance to honor our " Member of the Year" and "Rookie of the Year" award recipients for 2010. |
February 21 (Mon) - Nashville Singers will be performing the National Anthem performance for a Belmont University Basketball game; MEMBERS: chorus call is at 6:30pm; our informal uniform; 7:00pm performance;

April 23 (Sat) First Annual Nashville Singers Golf-A-Palooza golf tournament. Stay tuned to future issues of Nashville Singers News for more details as they become available. This tournament will be open to members and non-members alike and will be a great opportunity to have fun, make some new friends ands raise money to support our philanthropic mission.
