WINTER

December 2 (Thu) ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING - In addition to an abbreviated regular rehearsal, we will receive a preliminary financial recap of the November 20 concerts from the Treasurer Paul Gentry and a formal end of the year "state of the union" message from President Bruce Cokeroft. A slate of officers nominated to serve on the 2011 Nashville Singers, Inc. board of directors will be presented for election by the general membership. Nominations from the floor are permitted but no nominations should be made without prior consultation and approval from the nominee. In addition, the membership will be asked to consider some modifications to our governance and management structure to better position the organization for success in the coming years. If approved, these modifications would require an amendment of our bylaws, requiring a vote of the general membership. The rationale behind these proposed modifications was presented at the November 11 meeting.
