Updates to Incentives Application and Solutions Directory

The updated Energy Management Solutions (EMS) Incentives Application and Solutions Directory are now available on www.sce.com and www.sceonlinapp.com. All Solutions Directory updates are indicated in red font. As applicable, all versions of the Incentives Application (PDF, excel, and online) have been modified accordingly.

Important to note, dual baseline changes previously incorporated into the Online Application Tool have not yet been incorporated into the PDF and excel versions of the Incentives Application.

EMS Incentives Application Updates

  • Revised instructions throughout to clearly state required documentation (or reference the Solutions Directory as is the case in Customized Solutions, section 5)
  • Revised language throughout to ensure accurate and consistent usage of terminology.
    • This included revising the term Authorized Agents/Participants to Customer's Authorized Agent. The new term best represents the relationship acknowledged by the applicant in Section 10, item 16 of the Incentives Application when the 2nd checkbox is selected.
  • Revised Automated Demand Response Technology Incentives (Auto-DR TI), sections 7 & 8, to reflect the new Auto-DR Express and Customized TI programs
  • Revised Payment Information & Customer Acknowledgement, section 9, to address prevalent processing challenges, as follows:
    • Section 9 B - replaced "Contact Name" with "Attention To" for name to be printed on incentive check. Only use if required.
    • Section 9 C - revised tax identification type and status to address redundancies (e.g., Federal Tax ID and Employer ID number are interchangeable)
    • Revised Tax disclaimer to include CA-590 requirement
  • Revised Application Check List to clarify who must submit W-9, CA-590, and Customer's Authorized Agent Agreement. Also, revised required documentation information for clarity and brevity.
  • Revised Applicant Agreement Regarding Terms and Conditions, section 10, item 10 (Method of Calculation for Incentives Payments) to reflect updated Auto-DR TI information

Solutions Directory Updates
