As the end of 2011 approaches, we'd like to extend a warm thank you for your contributions this year. Although we realize it hasn't been easy--especially given our transition to a new application processing system--we've nonetheless seen a significant increase in Authorized Participant activity and event turnout this year than any other.
Next year, you can expect a ramp up of Authorized Participant support, particularly around education/training opportunities and technical assistance. We encourage you to take part in next year's events and leverage those resources that will be available to you. Additionally, we will continue to offer new solutions and promotions that support the Commission's directive of moving towards IDSM. Thus, we hope you'll be a part of this movement by promoting the integration of energy efficiency and demand response solutions to your customers.

Express LED Integral Lamp Offering
As mentioned in the December 2 Contractor Info Session, we're happy to announce a new light-emitting diode (LED) offering. Effective January 1, 2012, Express Solutions will be offering the following new LED integral lamp solutions:

To qualify for these solutions, the answers to the following eligibility requirements must be "Yes":
- Are the new interior LED integral lamps (screw-based or pin-based) ENERGY STAR®-qualified? Verify on the ENERGY STAR® site by clicking here.
- Are the LED lamps replacing one-for-one, existing incandescent or halogen lamps? New LED lamp wattage must be less than the wattage of the replaced incandescent or halogen lamp.
- Do the LED lamps meet the minimum wattage requirements stated in the solution description? Incentive is based on lamp wattage, not total fixture wattage.
- Are new LED lamps compatible with existing lighting controls and/or fixture components? Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility with existing lighting controls.
Note: Customers are responsible for maintaining adequate light levels, as well as lamp and fixture compatibility to ensure proper fixture performance levels are met.
This is a great opportunity for retail applications. Spread the news.
Reminder: Expiring Solutions
As we mentioned in our November edition, several solutions will be expiring on January 1, 2012. Please note: the wine tank insulation solutions below are no longer listed in the Solutions Directory currently posted on sce.com/solutions.
Express Solutions:
LED exit sign solutions:
- LT-25510: Incandescent lamp existing @ $27.00/fixture
- LT-85327: Compact fluorescent lamp existing @ $15.00/fixture
Wine tank insulation solutions:
- RF-75849: Indoor tank @ $2.25/sq. ft.
- RF-94332: Outdoor tank-Coastal @ $3.00/sq. ft.
- RF-89431: Outdoor tank-Central Valley @ $3.75/sq. ft.
Customized Solutions:
LED exit sign solution:

Express Installed applications, Express Pending Installation Reports, and Customized Installation Reports with these expiring solutions must be received by December 31, 2011, to qualify for incentives.
