Express Solutions Update

Limited Increased Incentives Offer
In the July Contractor Connection E-News, we asked that you keep an eye on information about a kW Campaign. Please be informed this has evolved into the Limited Increased Incentives Offer announced via email on July 26 (E-News).

To promote this limited offer, SCE is conducting targeted waves of marketing activities to customers as the "Power Up Your Bottom Line" campaign.  If your customers haven't already, they may soon start asking about this campaign.  Click here for more information.

If you didn't receive the July 26 email, here are the details:

Effective August 1, 2010 through November 12, 2010, a select number of Express Solutions qualify for increased incentives of up to 50% more than current levels. Click here for a full listing of eligible solutions.

Express Solutions applications must be received by SCE during the limited offer period to be eligible for the increased incentive. Express Pending applications are eligible for the increased incentives only if all final documentation (installation report, invoice, and specification sheet) is received by SCE between August 1 and November 12.

We encourage you to work with your customers to take advantage of this limited offer.

Expiring Solutions: Door Gaskets

Due to a decrease in claimable savings, effective September 30, 2010, the following Express Solutions will expire:
  • RF-53334: Door gaskets on walk-in doors @ $2.00/linear ft.
  • RF-87833: Door gaskets on reach-in doors @ $2.00/linear ft.
Applications must be received by September 30, 2010 and Terms and Conditions (Ts&Cs) met to qualify for incentives.

Pre-Inspection Required: Interior linear fluorescent fixtures > 400-watt lamp existing, up to 600-watt replacement fixture
Effective September 1, 2010, all projects including the following Solution Code will require a pre-inspection. Please submit your Express Pending application so an inspection can be scheduled.
  • LT-92448: Interior linear fluorescent fixtures > 400-watt lamp existing, up to 600-watt Replacement Fixture @ $200/fixture
Eligibility Revision: Interior Linear Fluorescent Fixtures Ts&Cs
Effective August 2, 2010, Ts&Cs for Express Solutions interior linear fluorescent fixtures have been revised to include pulse start metal halide fixtures as a basecase lighting technology.

This impacts the following Solution Codes: LT-41199, LT-12866, LT-84912, LT-55943, LT-26100, and LT-92448.

Aggregation
Express Solutions applications for new interior linear fluorescent fixtures replacing existing incandescent and T12 fluorescent fixtures in interior installations will only be accepted for qualified equipment purchased and installed January 1, 2010 through September 30, 2010. Applications must be received by September 30, 2010 and Ts&Cs met to qualify for incentives.

This impacts the following Solution Codes: LT-41199, LT-12866, LT-84912, LT-55943, LT-26100, and LT-92448.

The aggregation approach is not eligible for existing mercury vapor, standard metal halide, pulse start metal halide, or high-pressure sodium fixtures in interior installations.

To ensure project validity and correct aggregated wattage calculations, applications will be subject to review and may be declined or revised to appropriate incentive levels.

Verification of Prior Participation
Designated Authorized Agents who are interested in verifying prior participation at a site must complete and submit an Express Pending application prior to installation, otherwise risk having their projects rejected.

If SCE determines that previous participation at a site exists for the technologies or solutions submitted through the application, you will receive a notification letter with details of the previous installation activity and an Installation Report (IR). If no previous participation exists, the application will be processed under normal procedures once an IR is received.

Prior participation verification is available to inform the customer or Authorized Agent if previous participation activity exists at a site. It is not intended to approve or decline applications.

Express Solutions Ts&Cs must be met to qualify for incentives.
