Express Solutions Update
4-foot T8 interior lamp and electronic ballast must be high-performance (HP)
The following Express Solutions changes now impact the 4-foot T8 interior lamp and electronic ballast solutions:
Effective July 1, 2010, Express Solutions no longer accepts applications for 4-foot T8 interior lamp and electronic ballast solution incentives (solution code LT-82210). Only applications for high-performance (HP) 4-foot T8 interior lamp and electronic ballast solution for T12 replacement (solution code LT-89585) will now be accepted.
Qualified equipment can be found on the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) "Qualifying lamps 120-and 277-volt ballasts" list.
T12 retrofit to reduced wattage T8
The following should clarify available Express Solutions incentives for the T12 lamp and electronic ballast retrofit to reduced wattage T8 (28W or 25W) solution:
Express Solutions incentives for retrofitting T12 lamp and electronic ballast to reduced wattage T8 are only available for the 4-foot high-performance (HP) solution. For this solution, you may request available incentives by using two (2) solution codes:
Use solution code LT-89585 when replacing a 4-foot T12 to a 4-foot T8HP lamp and electronic ballast. Then, to account for the reduced wattage, use solution code LT-21844 if reducing to 28W (or solution code LT-97103 if reducing to 25W).
LED Offerings
Effective April 1, 2010, Express Solutions has added new solution code LT-68701: ENERGY STAR Surface, Pendant & Recessed Downlight ≤ 15 watts at $30/fixture.
- New LED downlight fixtures must be ≤ 15 watts
- Must replace one for one existing incandescent or halogen lamps that are ≥ 40 watts
A list of 70+ qualifying LED Downlight Fixtures can be found here.
Express Solutions terms and conditions must be met to qualify for incentives. See 2010 Express Procedures Manual for Business in the Express Solutions web page. |
