Oceanscience Riverboat ST
If you use a SonTek RiverSurveyor S5 or M9 profiler without an Oceanscience trimaran, you're missing the boat!  The new, versatile Riverboat ST is designed for a wide range of flow environments, including turbulent, high-velocity flows with standing waves.

The Riverboat ST provides excellent stability and maximizes data quality by keeping the transducers in the water, even in challenging flow.  Hydroboard users can quickly move the SonTek profiler to and from the Riverboat ST.  Click here to see the Riverboat ST in action.
Don't limit the environments in which you can take data -- call today for information about the Riverboat ST at (760) 754-2400 or click here to email us.

Oceanscience High-Speed Riverboat
Built for fast, turbulent waters with large standing waves, the new High-Speed Riverboat tackles what other tethered boats can't handle.  Developed for the USGS, the High-Speed Riverboat represents a quantum leap forward in tethered-boat technology.

State-of-the-art hulls cut through standing waves in flows up to 20 fps, providing superior pitch stability and efficiently shedding air bubbles before they reach the transducers.  The new hull design and tether arrangement increaseyaw stability, reduing data variance and the probability of hull submersion or roll over.  The High-Speed Riverboat excelled in all tests in the US and Japan, exceeding expectations and proving itself the leading tethered boat for any flow condition.  Click here to see a video of the High-Speed Riverboat in action.

The High-Speed Riverboat accommodates all compact profilers, accepts most GPS systems, and offers several communications options for data handling.  Call today for additional information about the High-Speed Riverboat at (760) 754-2400 or click here to email us.
