Use your discretion and print only what will be valuable to your congregation. This information will be sent to you only once. Use your judgment as to how often you run the same information in your bulletin. At least twice prior to an event is recommended. Perhaps you could use a calendar of future events in your bulletin and list it in a shortened form after the initial announcement has been made.

Faiths of the Postwar Presidents

Reflect on the election year with David L. Holmes, professor emeritus of religious studies from the College of William and Mary and author of a new book on The Faiths of the Postwar Presidents: From Truman to Obama. ACC Mennonite Men Dinner

A special dinner open to men of Atlantic Coast Conference and the general public, hosted and sponsored by Mennonite Men US and Canada, is planned for Friday evening, October 26, 6:30 pm, at Garden Spot Village in New Holland. This event will be held at the same time as the Mennonite Women's annual fall banquet. Come enjoy an evening of food, fellowship, inspiration and information about Mennonite Men and its programs. Don Yoder, Executive Director of Mennonite Men, will be speaking. There will be no cost for the meal but an offering will be taken to support the work of Mennonite Men. Neurologist to Address Parkinson's Support Group

Associate Professor of Neurology, Xuemei Huang, MD, PhD, will be the speaker at the next meeting of the Lancaster County Parkinson's Support Group. Huang is part of the team at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center for Movement Disorders. She will address and answer audience questions on the topic, "What is New in Treatment for Parkinson's Disease?" These monthly meetings are designed for education and support for persons diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and their families. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 15, at 2:00 p.m. in the Westview Community Room at Landis Homes, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz. Following the meeting will be a time of refreshments and informal discussion.
CMCL Seeking Sexton

Community Mennonite Church of Lancaster is seeking a person to perform the duties of the church Sexton with the opportunity to live in a one bedroom apt. on the church property. Duties of the Sexton include but are not limited to, daily inspection of church property, preparing the church building for Sunday morning as well as weekly activities, keeping the sidewalks safe for pedestrians, watering the plants on an as need basis, locking the building at the end of the evening and readying it for the following day. This position includes the opportunity to rent a one bedroom, unfurnished apartment on the church property. Rent for the apt. is $575.00 including utilities, with compensation for the Sexton position at $375.00 per month. If interested, please contact CMCL church office at 717-392-7567 during the hours of 9am-3pm to set up an appointment.
