Neurologist to Address Parkinson's Support Group

Associate Professor of Neurology, Xuemei Huang, MD, PhD, will be the speaker at the next meeting of the Lancaster County Parkinson's Support Group. Huang is part of the team at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center for Movement Disorders. She will address and answer audience questions on the topic, "What is New in Treatment for Parkinson's Disease?" These monthly meetings are designed for education and support for persons diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and their families. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 15, at 2:00 p.m. in the Westview Community Room at Landis Homes, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz. Following the meeting will be a time of refreshments and informal discussion.

Community Mennonite Church of Lancaster is seeking a person to perform the duties of the church Sexton with the opportunity to live in a one bedroom apt. on the church property. Duties of the Sexton include but are not limited to, daily inspection of church property, preparing the church building for Sunday morning as well as weekly activities, keeping the sidewalks safe for pedestrians, watering the plants on an as need basis, locking the building at the end of the evening and readying it for the following day. This position includes the opportunity to rent a one bedroom, unfurnished apartment on the church property.
