Designing God-Centered Worship

Saturday, March 3, 2012, 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., James Street Mennonite Church, 323 West James Street, Lancaster, PA 717.397.6707. Featuring Worship Trainer Michael Zehr. Don't miss an opportunity for persons who give leadership to worship in your congregations to connect and share ideas with other such leaders at a one-day worship event. Attenders will choose two interactive seminars designed to increase their worship skills. Three worship sessions are being planned using a variety of leaders and styles. Cost for the event is $50 per person. Groups of four or more from one congregation pay $40 per person. The cost of registration includes lunch and snacks.
27th Peace Essay Contest

The 27th Peace Essay Contest for Lancaster County high school students is now accepting submissions for written essays (in two divisions) and - new this year - videos! The 2012 theme is "Occupy the Divides: creating connections in our divided society" and prizes total $1350. No Longer Alone Ministries Paths to Discovery Consumer Support Group

No Longer Alone Ministries Family Support Group will meet on Sunday, Mar 25, from 3-5PM, at Rossmere Mennonite Church, 741 Janet Ave, Lanc. Topic: Use of Medication in Mental Health, led by Dr Harold Kraybill, Psychiatrist. 3-4: Educational Program, 4:10 - 5: Care and Share Groups. FSG brings hope and encouragement for family and friends of persons living with mental illness.
Engaged Encounter
