These bulletin announcements are for your information about resources, items of interest, prayer and praise requests and information. Use your discretion and print only what will be valuable to your congregation. This information will be sent to you only once. Use your judgment as to how often you run the same information in your bulletin. At least twice prior to an event is recommended. Perhaps you could use a calendar of future events in your bulletin and list it in a shortened form after the initial announcement has been made.

Your Missions Calling
Eastern Mennonite Missions is hosting Called 2011 on November 4 and 5 at MCC's Welcoming Place (Akron, Pa.). Called is a weekend retreat for discernment, inspiration, and encouragement, helping you move forward in your call to missions. Keynote speakers Linford and Janet Stutzman will lead sessions on direction, preparedness, and timing. Teach English in Peru
Serve with Eastern Mennonite Missions as an English teacher at Promesa starting late January 2012. Promesa is a bilingual Christian school in Cusco, Peru, offering preschool through 8th grade for the 2012 school year (March through December). Contact Sherrie (sherrieo@emm.org) for more information.

Lancaster Mennonite School will hold a Prospective Student Day at its four campuses on Monday, October 10. Times are 8:05 a.m. to 3:05 p.m. for the high school; 8:05 to 11:15 a.m. for the middle school at Lancaster; and morning only for Kraybill, New Danville and Locust Grove. LMS Fall Open House
Lancaster Mennonite School will hold a Fall Open House on Sunday, October 16, for parents and students exploring Christian education in pre-kindergarten to grade 12. The open house, set for 1-3 p.m. in the atrium of the Rutt Academic Center (Lancaster Campus), will include conversations with staff, program and scholarship information, campus tours and refreshments.
