The August meeting of the Lancaster County Parkinson's Support Group will focus on the topic "Helpful Tips for Living with Parkinson's from a Therapy Perspective," with Michelle Draeger. Draeger is an occupational therapist with RehabCare. The Lancaster County Parkinson's Support Group meets at Landis Homes the third Monday of each month from March through November. If you're curious about the British Columbia authors of Herald Press's best-selling "Mennonite Girls Can Cook," come to a book signing in Lancaster. Lovella Schellenberg and Anneliese Friesen will be at Berean Christian Bookstore next to Park City Mall on Monday, Aug. 7, from 7-8 p.m. The full-color book, based on a blog that has attracted nearly 3 million visitors, features Russian-German Mennonite cooking as well as devotional thoughts.
