SALT (Serving and Learning Together) Program

Mennonite Central Committee is currently accepting applications for our SALT program. SALT is an 11-month program for young adults to serve internationally. We recently began filling the 60 assignments with start dates for August, 2011. For applicants to have most choice of assignments, they should apply right away. Specific assignment descriptions and application instructions are available at salt.mcc.org.

Apartments Available at Germantown Mennonite Historic Trust

Two 2-bedroom apartments (approx. 850 sq ft) on the campus of the Historic 1770 Mennonite Meetinghouse in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. The landlord is the Germantown Mennonite Historic Trust, the small nonprofit that cares for the historic meetinghouse and seeks to create a peaceful residential community that serves as a witness in this neighborhood. Tenants would join the group of residents of six other apartments in the two-building "campus" surrounding the historic Meetinghouse & cemetery.
