ApartmentsApartments available in Philadelphia from Germantown Menn. Historical Trust
Two 2-bedroom apartments (approx. 850 sq ft) on the campus of the Historic 1770 Mennonite Meetinghouse in the Germantown section of Philadelphia will be available for rental - one in December & the other in January. The landlord is the Germantown Mennonite Historic Trust, the small nonprofit that cares for the historic meetinghouse. They are seeking community-minded tenants who are open to close cooperation with the residents of six other apartments in the two-building "campus" surrounding the historic Meetinghouse & cemetery. As a Mennonite organization, they seek to create a peaceful residential community that serves as a witness in this neighborhood. Rents are $850/month (January) and $800/month (December). Tenants pay utilities. Both are less than a block from a SEPTA bus stop (#23 & #XH) and 15 minute walk to the Tulpehocken station of the Chestnut Hill West (formerly R8) Regional Rail. Street parking. If interested, please contact Liz Einsig Wise, Executive Director, at (267) 240-7966 or gmht@meetinghouse.info |
