Show your colors in support of the fight against Alzheimer's disease.

Purple is the color of the Alzheimer's movement. More than 35 million people worldwide are living with Alzheimer's. On Alzheimer's Action Day September 21 join us in spreading the word by wearing purple and telling people why.

Then, encourage them to sign up to WALK to END Alzheimer's and make sure you've signed up yourself.

For the third consecutive year, "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" is dedicating its September 17-21 Celebrity Week to World Alzheimer's Month, with all proceeds for the week benefiting the Alzheimer's Association. Millionaire host Meredith Vieira appreciates the opportunity to dedicate the week to ALZ because of her personal connection to the disease. Alzheimer's took her father, and her brother, Steve, developed young onset Alzheimer's. This year's celebrities, who will all don their purple, include Mo'Nique, Paula Deen, Cheech Marin, Jacke and Tony Dovolani. Check local listings or visit the Millionaire website for time and channel.

Saturday, September 29 our ladies take the field in the age old rivalry  to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. The game will be held at Saratoga High School, where the gates will open at 4 p.m. in preparation for a 5 p.m. kickoff.

There will be plenty of action on the field, but we'll also have some fun on the sidelines. DJ Jack Burt will provide some tunes. At half time, one lucky attendee will have an opportunity to win a new car provided by Mangino Pontiac Buick. And, there's rumors flying around about some cheerlieaders.

After the game, join us at 28 Tables/The Metro in Saratoga Springs for our post game celebration with fine food and music by The Schmooze.

Tickets for both the game and post-game celebration are on sale now! Click here to purchase tickets on line.

And, while the game on the field is bound to be exciting, the real winners are the ones who raise the most for the cause.  You can cast your vote for the winning fundraising team by clicking the link of your choice below and donating in you team's honor.

For more information about our Blonde's vs. Brunettes game and fundraiser, email Holly or call her at 518.867.4999 x211.
