And a good time was had by all!
Thank you, so much, to everyone who came out and joined us on Saturday, June 23 at the Hilton Garden Inn Troy for Memories in the Making: an Evening to End Alzheimer's. It was a great night. We can could describe it for you, but pictures always speak louder than words. So, enjoy the photos that follow. If you were with us that night and have photos of your own, please email them to Holly and we'll share more in next week's AlzBytes!

ALZNENY Laughter Program to be Featured on WNYT's July 4 "Wellness Wednesday"
If you're inside escaping from the heat around noon on Wednesday during Fourth of July festivities, turn on the television and tune in to WNYT Newschannel 13 News at Noon. Our own Director of Programs and Services Bill Hinrichs will join Anchor Subrina Dhammi to talk about how humor can help ease stress and is especially beneficial for friends and family members who care for and/or interact with people who have Alzheimer's disease.
On Tuesday, July 10, Bill will facilitate the program "Laughter is the Best Medicine" at 2 pm in the Great Room at Eastwyck Village at 1 Eastwyck Circle in North Greenbush. Participants in the session, which is free and open to the public, will learn how laughter relaxes the whole body, boosts the immune system, protects the heart and helps maintain a healthy brain.
The program is supported in part by Rensselaer County United Family Services Department of Aging. While the program is free, registration is required. Email Jamie Mott or call her at 518.867.4999 x209 to register.
