Summer Savvy Caregiver Series
Schedule for Bethlehem and Saratoga
Savvy Caregiver Series
The work of caregiving requires training. Taking care of a person with a dementing illness is specialized work. To do this work successfully, caregivers need special skills and knowledge. They also need an outlook or attitude that helps them to look after themselves. The Savvy Caregiver, a free, five-session training series for family caregivers is designed to help meet those needs.

Alzheimer's Association of NENY will be offering The Savvy Caregiver in two convenient locations this summer: Saratoga Springs and Bethlehem.  The Bethlehem series will be held on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 85 Elm Avenue in Delmar on July 11, 18 and 25, and August 1 and 8.  The Saratoga Springs series will be held on Tuesdays at The Fortunate Cup at 120 West Avenue on June 19 and 26, and July 3, 10 and 17.
